PCRSEAL-ALM is a pierceable aluminum foil sealing film designed for PCR, long-term sample storage, and light-sensitive applications — with pressure-sensitive adhesive that seals by hand and every lot functionally tested.
Aluminum Foil Barrier for Storage & Light-Sensitive Work
PCRSEAL-ALM uses a non-permeable aluminum foil backing with acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide a complete moisture, vapor, and light barrier. Ideal for:
- Long-term sample storage at −80 °C to +120 °C
- Light-sensitive assays and compound libraries
- NGS library prep and PCR applications
- Excellent chemical resistance (e.g., DMSO) — suitable for compound storage and HTS applications
- Pierceable with single or multichannel pipette tips for convenient sample retrieval without removing the entire seal
Remove backing liner, place, and press to seal — no heat sealer or applicator required. Seals cleanly with gloved hands and holds through thermal cycling without lifting or adhesive migration into wells. Small-bag packaging (10 per sealed bag) minimizes cross-contamination between researchers.

PCR inhibitor-free, human DNA-free (< 0.5 pg/µL), DNase/RNase-free, ATP-free (< 10¹³ mg/µL), and non-pyrogenic (< 0.004 EU/mL, LAL tested per USP <85>, <161>) — tested per lot, not per process run.
All film materials are tested and compliant with U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 3.2a, RoHS 2011/65/EU, and REACH (EC) No 1907/2006 — manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certified quality management systems.
